Can I have 2 questions to our tasks:
1 - how to minimalize my big photo (2MB)to get it into my profile
2 - I´ve prepared voki presentation and have an embled code - how to get it on our digital space,
Thanks
Nadia
I can answer your first question ! Just go to this site http://www.webresizer.com/resizer/
choose around 150 pixels as the with for your profile picture

I've already asked this question at portfolios page, but here it may be more appropriate.
I have a wordpress blog where I publish materials for my pupils. This blog is not in English. Is it a problem? May I use it anyway, or should I create a new one for this purpose? Thank you.
If we don't understand the language a page is in, we can have http://translate.google.com/ translate it, and we'll have a good idea of what it says. Not perfect, but better than nothing.
Dear Regina, do you mean to show your picture by your post? You need to go to your account>>profile and upload your photo there. As for the links, if you add a link, it will automatically become a hyperlink.
Thanks Carla. I've already solved that. One more issue, if you or any other moderator couls help me. When I write a note, it says "Me to Classdigitools". How can I add my name instead of that "Me"? Could that be the reason you haven't received my assigments yet?
Dear Moderators
Is there a way to tidy up my Edmodo view? I'm having trouble finding the correct places to post my 'assignments'.
Also, can I get rid of the '8 Assignments due' and '7 late assignments' messages? All except two assignments seem to have been created by mistake by participants and it's a little off-putting coming in and seeing those messages, makes me think I've fallen way behind :-(
Cheers, Lesley
Don't worry about the X assignments due as some participants just created the assignments instead of following the thread, which is OK. We're here to play around and test things. As for the view. the best way for you to view things is to go to our edmodo group and click on the folder Week 1. There, you'll have all the important links to resources and assignments of the week. Thanks for asking.
Thanks Carla.
I wasn't worried, I realised what had happened, but was just hoping there was some way of turning off the accidental assignments. I had finally worked out that the folders were the best place to go for the course resources.
Cheers, Lesley
PS - I've just noticed that someone has added a lot of folders to the Edmodo, pushing the 'Week' folders right off my initial view! If we get too many folders on the course that's going to make it difficult to find the ones. I think there are too many very keen participants in this course playing around with all the features of Edmodo :-)
I know :-) I just wish I could delete or reorganize the extra folders, but we can just edit the ones we create. As everybody registered as teachers, they can all play around with all features. When there's a teacher and all students, things are more controlled and organized.
Is there a way to receive everything from Edmodo in a digest format? I am being overwhelmed by Edmodo posts in my account and it is frustrating. thanks
I don't think you can get a digest, but you can turn off some of the notifications. As DPohl says, you go to ACCOUNT (top left) then SETTINGS, and then you'll see the NOTIFICATIONS at the top left. If you turn off 'Notes' and 'Replies' you'll greatly reduce the emails. Probably wise not to turn off 'Alerts' as these are used by our Moderators to let us know about something important.
Cheers, Lesley
That's it, Heather. You can just go to your ACCOUNT>>SETTINGS>>NOTIFICATIONS. Keep just the Alerts on because that's how the Moderators send the important information to participants. Another solution is for you to add a filter to your own mailbox. Let us know if you still need help.
Dear moderators,
I have some trouble in posting my introduction to edmodo.I don't know why . I've followed the steps you've suggested, but when I enter with my account the part where I have to write it seems to be charging and continues charging and charging. I´m trying to do it since Monday... but I can't. Please help me!!
Here is my introwith animoto...This tool is exciting !!!! http://animoto.com/play/6do4s14TuMe0ihfxPUnfDQ but I'm going to make it better.

Dear Marlene, have you tried changing computers? It might be your computer or the connection you are in. Please, give it a try. Thanks for sharing your lovely Animoto!
Dear moderators!
It seems to me that I have troubles in viewing the portfolios of other participants. It's important to me because I dout what should I have in mine.Maybe it's my computer that is blocking something? Thanks in advance.

Can I get a piece of advice? As soon as I submit my assignments, it shows "resubmit your assignment" in the window. And if I click on it the aasignment disappears.
I don't think you have to submit any assignments - you just need to Reply to the Week 1 ... 'Assignment' post. I think the moderators have just used the assignment type of post to highlight the tasks for the course. If we submit them, I think only the moderators cOuld read them, but by posting, it means we share our posts with everyone.
At least that's how I think it works!
Thank you Lesley,
I used the Reply window too, my introduction appeared, there were even some comments, but it seems that it remained to be being waited for.
Dear Carla,
You are the most patient and the kindest moderator I have ever met.
So I am trying to follow your advice. I've just finished doing the Week 1 assignments (roughly).
I will do my best to cope with Week 2 assignments too.
Thank you again.

I was browsing the Bubbl.us tool, and I really didn't understand how to use it and its purpose. Could you please tell me and guide me to create one. I have already registered.
On the Bubbl.us page, on the top right side, you have a help link. Click there. The tutorials are a great way to get started. Let me know if you got it.
In the FAQs you say:
Can I get a certificate for my participation?
Due to the informal nature of interaction at EVO, we are unable to certify your participation. Nevertheless, the session moderators ca issue informal certificates of participation if requested and upon active participation during the six session weeks.
Since I must compete for my university hours every semester, I would be very interested in a certificate of participation at the end of the course, especially if I qualify. Thank you for offering.
